About Me

Hello! Thank you for stopping by!

I am absolutely thrilled to be part of the Chicago College of Performing Arts team. I’m a proud educator, and a Chicago-based director and actor who believes deeply in theatre as a vehicle for social justice and change, as well as an opportunity to have a rockin’ good time. It’s incredibly exciting to be part of an institution whose mission centers social justice and actively encourages us to integrate it into our curriculum. I’m inspired by the commitment to helping students become thoughtfully passionate global citizens who create positive change, both within their communities and throughout our industry.

My background:

As an educator and teaching artist, in addition to my time here at ÃÍÁÏÊÓƵ, I have previously worked with Storycatchers Theatre and BAMtheatre.

Directing credits include Modern Gentleman at About Face Theatre, Little Shop and Fun Home (Jeff Award nomination for Best Director, co-directed with Jim Corti, Paramount Theatre); Snow Queen (Marriott Theatre); Never Better, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and Once Upon a Mattress (Jeff Award nomination for Best Director, Theo Ubique); 9 to 5: The Musical (Metropolis Theatre); and Assassins (North Central College).

I have performed with Paramount Theatre, American Theater Company, Marriott Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, Porchlight Music Theatre, Griffin Theatre, and Theatre at the Center.

On screen, I star in the Dungeons & Dragons series Encounter Party from Hasbro, Wizards of the Coast, and eOne—currently streaming on Plex, Freevee, and Roku—an adaptation of my actual-play podcast of the same name. I have also appeared on Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med, and am represented by Stewart Talent.
